The Series 4000 range of diesel engines is characterized by its improved Common Rail fuel injection system and Exhaust Gas Recirculation. Both of these innovative features were specially developed and refined by MTU. These diesel engines also utilize 2-stage turbocharging, and are designed for excellent performance, optimal power-to-weight ratios, and maximum stability for a good return of investment.
It has been specifically engineered to comply with high class Tier 4 requirements. It is capable of operation without the need for additives, aftertreatment, or related infrastructure. This high quality standard contributes to making the Series 4000 a highly economical, cost reducing solution.
